02 / The Other Story
A world of our own.
Growing up in the sticks, music helped me make sense of a world I never felt I fit into.
Before I was Choirboy Dank, I was a kid singing in a church choir in Dodge City, Kansas, searching for sounds that weren’t on the local radio. Beastie Boys. Lil Wayne. The Neptunes. Hours at Hastings, digging through records and magazines. The internet opened doors to people and places I couldn’t find around the corner.
I wanted to make things that felt like that world—and bring something of my own to it. First came a logo embroidered on jeans. Then beats made with friends. Eventually, a move to New York to learn how to make “real” records.
Other World grew out of that search. Today, we make music, clothing and films for people who know what it feels like to look around and wonder where their people are.
You might find us through a song. You might recognize yourself in the eyes or wear the Crown. However you get here, the work is how we find each other.
You’ve probably been one of the Others all along.

TOOF GANG ASSEMBLE.
Born in Harlem, Swag Toof began as a partnership fueled by a love of making something new. We experimented with the tools we had, building a sound that felt like us. Records, visuals, the world around them—we did it ourselves.
That DIY spirit carries on through Other World Entertainment. The records and the people who found each other through them are part of what brought us here—and part of what comes next.
Toof Gang will always live on.
